Brighton’s FAIR
One of the few shops in the country to specialise in sustainable fashion from around the world
FAIR was founded by Siobhan Wilson and is located in the city of Brighton and Hove, on a traditional fashion landmark which was once home to Brighton Biba in the 1960s.
Awareness of the environmental impact of fast fashion has grown tremendously in the last few years, and people are increasingly seeking out for more sustainable alternatives. FAIR show that there is another way, by curating and stocking a range of well known, fashionable ethical brands such as People Tree, O My Bag, Swedish Stockings, Armed Angels and new local ethical sportswear brand UNOA. These brands do not only support Fair Trade production, but innovate through the use of organic and sustainable textiles.
FAIR has been nominated for a number of local and national ethical fashion awards, including being nominated the Best Independent Boutique by the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Source Awards.
