Drawing attention to the plight of endangered animals, the striking Respectful Animal Trophies: Chapter II collection has been developed to support wild animal welfare and conservation. Ten percent from each piece sold within the collection is donated to Hu2’s partner organisation, the renowned Born Free Foundation, to help fund the charity’s international conservation projects.

Following the theme of Respectful Animal Trophies: Chapter I, the new range is inspired by nature’s raw beauty, featuring four unique wooden wall art pieces; the Respectful Elephant, Rhino, Tiger and Lion Trophy. To showcase the rationale behind each represented animal, the collaborative infographics highlight key information about the endangered species and their current status.

Created by French artist and designer Antoine Tes-Ted, the new collection of exclusive wall signs follows Hu2’s brand philosophy of delivering sustainable, thought-provoking art through an innovative approach to design and craftsmanship.

Antoine Tes-Ted, Founder & Creative Director of Hu2 Design, said:

‘I am honoured to partner with the Born Free Foundation in supporting their wildlife conservation work – bringing hope to endangered species in such an active way gives a brighter future for us all. The joint infographic that we have created demonstrates how much work is needed in order to protect these animals from further harm.’

Virginia McKenna OBE, Founder of the Born Free Foundation, said: ‘At a time when the use of the word “respect” has become more rare – to say the least – the Respectful Animal Trophies: Chapter II collection is to be welcomed with delight and gratitude. No animal has been hunted, wounded or killed and yet we can see, on our walls, some of the world’s most fascinating creatures. These works of art are unique in their own right, but they have a special significance, which is the vision of Hu2 Design and the wonderful artist Antoine Tes-Ted.’

‘It is the greatest privilege that Born Free has been chosen as the wildlife charity to support. We, too, are doing our utmost to ensure that a sculpture will not become a tragic reminder that this is the only way we can see and admire these extraordinary creatures.’
