Sarrie Bui
Sarrie founded Satori Concept in 2019, a yoga product brand that elevates yoga practice with nature-inspired mats. What started as a side hustle soon blossomed into a passion project. Four years later, she decided to dedicate herself entirely to the business. Sarrie’s vision is to create sustainable, beautiful products that inspire people to enhance both their
physical and mental health.
Her solo entrepreneurial journey is driven by a desire to create meaningful and helpful products. Connections with customers fuel her creativity, enabling her to collaborate with designers from around the world to bring the product visions to life. “We are committed to continuous improvement by listening to our customers to refine and perfect our products.”
Inspired by the Zen Buddhist idea of “Satori,” which means to awaken, the brand aims to inspire people to have deeper connections with themselves and the nature around at any moment. Founded with the mission to offer sustainable yoga products, Satori Concept’s signature cork yoga mats are crafted from natural cork and rubber materials. These mats offer a pure grip and strong foundation, allowing practitioners to flow with confidence, minimising distractions and maximising their moments of Zen.
The breathtaking artwork on each mat is inspired by the natural world, from majestic mountains to delicate flowers and graceful animals. By incorporating these elements into their designs, Satori Concept aims to inspire tranquility, mindfulness, and a profound connection to nature in every practice.
“We want to build a community that values mindfulness, sustainability, and the beauty of nature, one yoga mat at a time”. With Satori Concept, yoga is not just physical exercise but a journey of reconnection with the essence of life. Each breath, pose, and moment of Satori brings practitioners closer to a state of inner peace.

But for me, it’s about being passionate about delivering useful products and solutions that can improve people’s health and wellbeing while protecting the planet for our children and their kids,” Mr. Rittri says.
The sixty-something entrepreneur’s journey got seriously underway in 1996 when he founded indoor air brand Blueair, which over the next two decades he forged into a global company with sales in over 62 countries, including the USA and China, before divesting to Unilever at the end of 2016.

Johanna & Cecilia
In 2015, hairdressers Johanna Lindskoug and Cecilia Nilsson founded Bruns Products after experiencing job-related allergies and witnessing colleagues leave the profession due to health problems. Together, they developed a complete hair care line with high-quality, sustainable ingredients, all manufactured in Bruns’ own facility in Sweden.
BRUNS COLOR+, the latest addition to the Bruns product line, is set to redefine hair colouring. Traditional oxidative hair colouring products have been linked to health concerns, prompting Lindskoug and Nilsson to develop a solution that delivers exceptional results and enhances the well-being of hairdressers.
Unlike conventional oxidative hair dyes that contain potentially allergenic substances, such as ppd and ptd, BRUNS COLOR+ eliminates the need for two components and reduces the risk of allergic reactions. With a single bottle, this revolutionary product demonstrates that permanent hair colouring without oxidation is possible without compromising safety or the environment.
BRUNS COLOR+ stands out by combining beauty and sustainability. It uses synthetic pigments balanced with ingredients of natural origin and doesn’t contain harsh chemicals, making it better for the environment. Salons can even reuse leftovers, reducing waste. What’s more, BRUNS COLOR+ is unscented, making it suitable for everyone, especially those with sensitive scalps or fragrance allergies. The commitment to holistic hair care aligns with Bruns’ philosophy of achieving exceptional results while prioritising the hair’s health.
With 19 different shades, including 11 basic colours covering grey hair and 8 pigment colours, BRUNS COLOR+ empowers hairdressers to create limitless colour combinations. Whether you want a subtle tint, a temporary tone, or a permanent change, this product is versatile for various preferences.
In a bold move, BRUNS COLOR+ declares it’s changing the world, one hair at a time. By setting new standards in hair colouring, Bruns Products is making a positive impact on both hairdressers’ well-being and the environment.
Tran Duc Vu
Tran Duc Vu, the Director of Engineering at Alma Resort on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula, quietly but diligently works to make his 74-acre workplace, community and native Vietnam more sustainable.
Under Vu’s stewardship, Alma is implementing Vietnam’s most ambitious solar power project yet for a hotel. Some 4476 solar panels, spanning 12,500sqm, will adorn the roofs of the resort’s pavilions, two towers, lobby lounge and utility building. With a capacity of 2462 kilowatts peak, the system will fuel between a quarter to almost 35 percent of Alma’s energy needs, depending on occupancy. It’s estimated Alma will save up to USD 16.21 million in electricity bills over 25 years while curbing carbon emissions by up to 70,369 tonnes.
“We hope to set a positive example for the rest of Vietnam’s luxury hospitality landscape; so much so it’s soon incumbent for five-star hotels across the country to introduce solar power,” said Vu, who has worked as an engineer at hotels for more than two decades.
Vu has also pushed for Alma to be more self-sufficient by working with his landscape team to establish a 1000sqm nursery garden, 260sqm chicken farm and two herb gardens, 180sqm and 230sqm, onsite. The kitchen staff pick fruit, vegetables, herbs, and chicken eggs, affording organic zero-kilometre produce for guests’ meals and beverages at the resort’s restaurants. Vu has helped organise complimentary garden tours for guests to learn about sustainable farming.
He helps manage three staff committees focused on ‘green products’, ‘innovation and solutions’ and ‘people and partnerships’ to lessen Alma and the community’s carbon footprint. “Our staff learn by doing through working closely with our local community through various initiatives,” said Vu.
Vu has spearheaded the resort’s “Back of House” tour, taking guests through Alma’s inner workings. Tour stops include a water treatment plant deploying a reverse osmosis system to provide 70,000L weekly of drinkable water and ice for all of the resort’s kitchens, electric buggy station and garbage room processing about 250kg of garbage a day, including compostable waste and recyclables, reselling an average of, for example, 110L of cooking oil weekly to non-food businesses.
Sarah Hall
Well Fit Active has been a passion project for serial entrepreneur, Sarah Hall. The UK-born activewear brand specialises in sports and leisure clothing for plus-size women, challenging the stereotype of females in sport as well as providing unique-design training attire for those just looking to improve their fitness.
The first designs were sketched on paper in 2017 after Sarah failed to find any suitable activewear that provided support, comfort, style or longevity for her plus-size body.
“Plus-size women have been under-served for years in fashion, let alone in fitness clothing. The options available for my 22-24 body were poor – ill-fitting leggings that didn’t stay up, sized-up crop tops that exposed my belly and boring baggy t-shirts. With nothing available to me, I decided to design my own!” Sarah Hall, Founder of Well Fit Active
Sarah worked with award-winning designer Lily Rice to create a range of activewear that really performed under pressure, so that women could wear Well Fit and feel confident, supported and stylish, allowing them to focus on the task in-hand and not on pulling up their leggings. The training tops have breathable, sweat-wicking panels under the arms and down the back and a secret cinch panel from bust to hip that can be tucked into leggings so that you can jump around without flashing your flesh.
Sarah had a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical manufacturing from the very first discussions of creating the range with the core collection being manufactured in the UK by a small team of activewear specialists. The leggings, tops, shorts, vest and hijab are made from recycled ocean plastic waste and can be recycled at the end of their lifespan.
On launching in January 2023, Well Fit attracted celebrities Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson, who immediately fell in love with the range of sustainable activewear. Available in UK sizes 8-30.
