Helen Van Kruyssen

Helen Van Kruyssen has written about film and travel for Time Out, Scotland on Sunday, the Observer and CNN.

She was deputy editor of the Time Out Guide to Vienna, Brussels and Film4’s magazine. She has script-edited an Emmy award-winning Arabic web-drama for the BBC World Service and is currently working with French director/writer Slony Sow, developing the award-winning short Winter Frog (starring Gerard Depardieu), into a feature-length film.

Helen writes about French cinema for her site, 52frenchfilms.org, which publishes in-depth exclusive interviews with actors and directors, and wants the Anglophone audience to be passionate about French cinema.

Helen lives in London and likes to walk in the woods alone, and with family and friends, as often as she can.

French sound-engineer Luc de La Selle is on a mission: to meet European musicians, live alongside them and record their music for free
